Vijay Kalra is an Auto Industry veteran with over four decades of experience across leading organisations, diversified cultures and multiple functions. Before formal retirement, he was Director - Mahindra Institute of Quality and part of the Mahindra Group Corporate Leadership Team. Vijay's last two assignments were Chief of Manufacturing Operation AD/ED & CEO MVML and VP: Manufacturing & Quality, General Motors India. Prior to this he worked for Toyota, CLAAS and Ashok Leyland. Vijay is passionate about quality, productivity, skill building, sustainability, safety, shop floor diversity and Industry 4.0. He has had leadership roles in four Greenfield facilities and Brownfields major upgrades. He has seen the automotive industry transformation from Ambassador & Fiat days to XUV 7OO, Thar and EVs.
