Logo

You may use the logos in news articles or blog posts about the Indo-German Centre. Please obtain permission from us for other uses.

The logo is available in two variants. The main one includes the Centre name and should be used in most cases. The second one is for instances where space is limited, or a square image is required. Both logos are also available in grayscale and with white text. Preferably, the logos should be used on a white background, but any colour is acceptable as long as there is enough contrast for all elements to be properly visible. You may not modify the logos, including changing the colours and proportions, adding or removing components, or combining them with other words or design elements.

Style Guide

The Centre’s official name is “Indo-German Centre for Business Excellence”. When the context is clear (for example, in subsequent mentions), you may use shorter versions such as “Indo-German Centre” or simply “Centre”. You may also use the acronym “IGC”, but please introduce it properly, for example, by putting in parentheses after the full name at the beginning of a text.

The Centre uses British English spelling based on the New Oxford Style Manual (2016).

Time and date

  • Dates are spelled as day – month – year: 24 February 2023 (long form) or 24/02/2023 (short form)
  • For times, use the 24h system with a colon: 09:30, 20:45, etc. 00:00 is midnight, and 12:00 is noon.
