Rajnish Tiwari is Professor for Business Administration and Global Innovation at Fresenius University of Applied Sciences (Hochschule Fresenius; HSF) at its Hamburg campus. In addition, he is a co-founder of the Center for Frugal Innovation at Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH), which now functions in collaboration with HSF. Prof. Tiwari has advised Germany’s Federal Ministry of Education and Research concerning “new global innovation pathways”. He is a leading expert on Indo-German economic relations and has conducted several studies of Indian investments in Germany. He heads the Hamburg chapter of German-Indian Round Table (GIRT) and has co-initiated the prestigious “India Week Hamburg”, which is now celebrated biannually in partnership with various institutional actors, such as the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, Hamburg Chamber of Commerce, and the Consulate General of India. He is also a member of the Hanseatic India Forum, Deutsch-Indische Gesellschaft, and the German Association for Asian Studies.
