Marius Ochel, based in Berlin, leads the VDA-inhouse cluster for the VDA's international association partnerships. This includes at the one hand the Indo-German Association Partnership Program between the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA), the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) and the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA). On the other hand it includes the so called “Partner Africa Project” with the African Association of Automobile Manufacturers (AAAM). Through these projects, funded by the German Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development, the associations can successfully deepen topics of common interest such as electric mobility and renewable fuels for the automotive industry on all three continents. Marius is responsible for organizing and coordinating conferences, workshops, joint research papers and bilateral delegations in the scope of the projects. Marius holds a Bachelor in International Business from DHBW Mannheim and a Master degree in International Economics & Governance from the University of Bayreuth. Having worked and studied for longer periods in Palestine, USA and Peru, he can add his international experience to the field of Indo-German and Indo-African business relations. He is working with VDA since 2016.
