Lakshmi Lalita Mohan promotes industrial cooperation and bilateral relations – trade, foreign direct investments, joint ventures, and technical collaborations between India and the EU, primarily promoting India as a trade destination. Her role as Head of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in Germany and France is to build strategic partnerships and maintain relationships with all stakeholders, including counterpart organisations and associations within Germany, France, and the EU. She is also responsible for opening and maintaining dialogue with scientific and research institutions, universities, academia, skills development bodies, and institutions of excellence in quality management and manufacturing. Lakshmi Lalita studied German Law at the Universities of Münster and Bonn, Germany. She is currently doing her Master of Laws (LL.M) in Corporate Security and Compliance. Lakshmi Lalita Mohan is a member of the India Business Forum Executive Committee, an initiative by the Consulate General of India in Frankfurt. She is also an Ambassador of the Indo-German GINSEP programme, a joint initiative by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy and Deutsche Startups Association.
