As CEO of MLL Mobility business, Kannan leads the business operation of enterprise mobility vertical, and personal mobility vertical. Kannan is the architect of CATAPULT, a technology incubator in the supply chain segment. CATAPULT is a pioneer in this space and supported by eco-system partners such as Intel, Cisco, iCreate and IIT SINE. Kannan joined Mahindra in 2011. In his first assignment as Auto sector strategy head, he had successfully implemented several change management initiatives. He also successfully developed ‘Geelantheid’ – Mahindra’s strategy to be a $1 Billion business in African sub-continent by 2025. Subsequently, he had led several internal startups within Mahindra. He was the founding member of ‘Smartshift’- digital platform for Small commercial vehicles, ‘Glyd’ – India’s premier e-mobility services. He was also board member of ‘Trringo’ agri startup for the farmers. Kannan is an MBA graduate from Ross Business school, Michigan, US. He has over 30 years of automotive experience across Original Equipment Manufacturers and tier 1 vendors such as Ford and Tata Motors.
