Dr. Jagadeesh Gandla is a Ph.D. holder in Cancer Pain from Heidelberg University in Germany. With an extensive academic background, Jagadeesh has delved into research on the pain management of cancer patients. After gaining expertise in the field, Jagadeesh took on a new role as an Accelerator Program Manager for the European Union. Through mentoring, Jagadeesh supported healthcare startups, enabling them to scale up and achieve their goals. Driven by a passion for entrepreneurship, Jagadeesh founded initiatives such as Dartostart.org and the Indian Empowerment Network. These initiatives aimed to foster growth and development within their respective communities. Currently, Jagadeesh is back in India and serves as the Chief Operating Officer at the Federation of Asian Biotech Associations (FABA). Here, Jagadeesh is dedicated to building the FABA Entrepreneurship wing, which provides support for bio/biotech startups in accessing funds, mentorship, and business scaling. Additionally, Jagadeesh is also working towards helping Life Science graduates upskill and get placed in the right jobs, thereby making a significant contribution to the industry.
