Gopal is Vice President for South Asia at The Asia Group (TAG), a business advisory firm specializing in strategies for market entry, expansion, and risk management across Asia, thereby contributing to growing economic and trade linkages across the Indo-Pacific. Gopal is responsible for expanding TAG’s newly established India subsidiary, especially in his sectors of expertise: manufacturing, infrastructure, and logistics. Prior to TAG, Gopal graduated with a Master in Public Administration in International Development from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government while working with the CEO and economics- and industry- related verticals of NITI Aayog (think tank of the Government of India). His earlier background includes a decade of leading work at the Clinton Health Access Initiative, Gavi, and other agencies on business advisory, pricing negotiations, and program implementation to increase access of vaccines, drugs, and diagnostics across 50+ low- and middle- income countries.
