On 3 September 2022, Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, the renowned Indian spiritual leader and head of the Art of Living Foundation, visited Frankfurt School of Finance & Management to deliver a special lecture on meditation, entrepreneurship, and business. Dr. Matthias Catón, Deputy Chairman of the Indo-German Centre for Business Excellence and Director of Corporate Development at Frankfurt School, welcomed him on behalf of the School and the IGC.
During his visit, he shared his teachings on meditation and spirituality with students and guests at the university’s packed main lecture theatre. He also discussed the importance of having an entrepreneurial mindset in today’s global economy. He urged participants to pursue their dreams of becoming successful business professionals while walking on the path of spiritual enlightenment. Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar spoke about his personal experiences during his journey into spirituality and the importance of meditation for physical and mental well-being. He also discussed the various initiatives Art Of Living took to promote better understanding among people from different cultures around the world.
Gurudev’s presence enlightened the participants. They left informed about how they can balance their professional lives and spiritual growth. Many expressed gratitude for hearing from such a learned person who dedicated his life to teaching humanity peace and harmony.
